We're thrilled that 20 brand-new electric vehicles will be available in 2024 and 2025

There is already a greater selection of electric cars than ever before, and there will be many more in the future. In fact, there are a few that truly deserve to be enthusiastic about. We are eager to get behind the wheel of the many electric vehicles that will be available in 2024 and 2025.

Some, like a kind of spiritual successor to the VW bus, are on the horizon; others, like a new product from Tesla, are still under wraps but should be here by the end of the year. Some are potent luxury EVs, while others will provide reasonably priced service in an underserved market. All rely on electricity rather than internal combustion engines for propulsion. These are 20 electric vehicles that we look forward to in 2024 and 2025.

Audi A6 E-Tron

Audi is working diligently to create an electric A6 vehicle. Audi designer Wolf Seekers stated of the A6 E-Tron, which has already been displayed in concept form, "I can promise you that a lot of what we're showing here will be available and seen on the road." Another variant, an Avant wagon, is reportedly in the works; we've spotted a disguised prototype driving about. While we want to see the Avant arrive in the United States, we're not holding our breath.

IQ Cadillac Escalade

Prototypes of Cadillac's electric Escalade have already been spotted driving around Detroit. The vehicle is expected to launch soon. The 2025 Escalade IQ is anticipated to enter production shortly and be delivered by the end of the year. With 450 miles of range and up to 750 horsepower, it will also be worth the wait.

Cadillac Visit

Another three-row electric SUV, the 2026 Cadillac Visit, will sit just underneath the formidable Escalade IQ. Although there aren't many information available today, we may anticipate hearing more later this year and seeing the Visit released in 2025.

Bolt by Chevrolet

It's the dead Chevy Bolt. Let the Chevy Bolt live on. According to GM CEO Mary Barra, the cheap EV nameplate will be back in 2025. However, it appears from her most recent remarks that only the marginally bigger Bolt EUV will survive. It will resume the position of Chevy's entry-level electric car below the soon-to-arrive Equinox EV by using GM's Ultrium platform.

Daytona Dodge Charger

Dodge has made no secret of its intention to replace the Charger with an electric vehicle; the first design was unveiled in all of its rumbly grandeur. Pre-production models were first shown to the public in January 2024. The production Charger Daytona two-door fastback, which uses Stellates' STLA Large platform, made its debut in March 2024 and closely resembled the idea. Dodge also unveiled a four-door version, which startled us. The R/T and Scat Pack Daytona grades, which have a combined output of 456 and 590 horsepower, will be the first two available. We'll receive an 800-volt electrical system and an even more powerful SRT Banshee variant next year.

Hyundai Ionic 7

The Hyundai Ionic 7 is a near relative of the outstanding Kia EV9 and the electric equivalent of the Hyundai Palisade. Hyundai unveiled the Seven Concept, a three-row seating vehicle with an eye-catching external appearance, as a 2021 preview of the Ionic 7. The genuine thing is anticipated to appear sometime around 2024.

Jeep Recovery

Following the introduction of its 4xe plug-in hybrids, Jeep will fully enter the battery-electric vehicle market. In 2022, Jeep gave a sneak peek at the Recon EV. Although it appears to be a true off-road vehicle, the Wrangler will still be there, and we hope to see an EV version of it soon.

The Wagoneer S model of Jeep

In2022, Jeep hinted about the electric Wagoneer S with the Recon. More recently, the sporty-looking SUV has been shown in improved appearance and inside photos. Moreover, with 600 horsepower and a 3.5-second 0-60 mph pace, it looks dynamic. Production is anticipated to begin for the 2025 model year.

EMEA Lotus

With models like the Elater SUV, Lotus is venturing into more sensible market categories and transitioning to electric vehicles. It isn't giving up on its athletic origins, either. The Lotus EMEA electric vehicle, which is anticipated to go into production this year, is something we're excited about. Although all the specifications are yet unknown, its two motors should enable it to reach 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. It will also be able to charge rapidly thanks to 350 kW DC chargers.
